"Pool House" It is a very personal project of the American interior designer Jamie Beckwith . It's not just one summer residence with pool , it is also a homage to gothic architecture more extravagant. Its creator takes elements of this style and includes them in the concept of luxury mansion with a very special result. We show you inside this incredible home.
From the amplitude of its spaces and the height of its ceilings, this aspiration (and inspiration) of moving the greatest Gothic to the present is intuited. The modern furniture chosen is joined by architectural elements such as the pointed arch of its doors and windows, or the incredible hanging lamps that look like those in the great Gothic cathedrals.
In the kitchen, minimalist expression, highlights a very clean surface in lemon yellow and the beauty of the wood paneling on the ceiling and walls. In this house, eclecticism becomes art.
In the bedroom you can appreciate that taste for Gothic thanks to the exclusive appearance of its windows, complemented by a very modern and sophisticated style in gray, with golden details.
The living room is an incredible mix of styles, with a very decadent appearance, from the palatial era. It is one of the most striking rooms in the house, especially for that glass floor from which you can see the cellar below. Also noteworthy are those ogival arches built with circular neons. Simply spectacular.
We finish this small tour with a look at the toilet, a room where wood is the absolute protagonist and where again you can appreciate that decadent air with details of oriental luxury that is the hallmark of this special project.
