Kitchen equipment for people with motor disabilities

Something as simple as cooking can be complicated for a person with motor disabilities. Cooking or perhaps peeling or opening a can is simple for ordinary people who do not have disabilities. But for others it can sometimes become a nightmare, make them feel like a burden to the rest of the family and can not be self-sufficient.

That is why the Lithuanian designer Gabriele Meldaikyte has sought to give a solution to all of them.
Meldaikyte has designed an innovative kitchen equipment that can be used with just one hand. This equipment has accessories for cutting, peeling, cutting bread, an opener and non-slip rubber for peeling and cutting. With it people with disabilities can feel useful and self-sufficient. They will be able to make their own food without needing help.
In a society that every day thinks only of how to satisfy the needs of the common person, that there are people who are busy designing things and tools for the disabled is fantastic. Congratulations!!!
